Acceptable Identification includes an Ontario driver's licence, an Ontario Photo Card, a canceled personalized cheque, an insurance policy or statement or any other document included on the acceptable documents for voter identification list.

Voter's List

The Voter's List is a list of people who are eligible to vote in the 2018 Municipal Election.

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) provides a List of Electors to all municipalities.

The City of Thorold uses this list to prepare the Voter's List for voting days.  If your name is on the Voter's List, you will receive important election information on a Voter Notification Card.  This card gives you information on where and when you can vote.  Having this card will also speed up the time it takes to vote.

To complete the Application for Revisions to the Voter's List, you must bring acceptable identification to the Clerk's Department, 3540 Schmon Parkway, Thorold during regular business hours.  You can also bring your ID to any voting location in the City of Thorold at an Advance Poll or any voting location on Election Day to complete the application.

Voter's Guide

The Voter's Guide from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs gives information about voting in municipal and school board elections.
