If you want to make your views known on a matter being considered by council or Committee, you may submit your comments in writing or you may appear at a meeting to share your comments in person.

If you submit written comments, they, together with your personal information, will form part of the public record.  If you submit written comments on an item before the agenda is published, your correspondence will be reproduced and included in the printed version of the agenda.  If you submit your comments after the printed agenda has been distributed, your correspondence will be reproduced and distributed to all members of Council and the relevant City staff.  Copies will also be made available for public inspection in the meeting.  Your correspondence will also be available for public inspection to anyone who asks before or after the meeting.
 
If you wish to appear in person, you much register to speak by contacting the Clerk's Department in writing by email at clksten2@thorold.com.  You are required to register by 10 a.m. on the day of a meeting.

Agendas for Council, General Committee and Special Council Meetings are usually uploaded to the Virtual Library late Thursday afternoon the week prior to regularly scheduled Council meetings.

If you require accommodations for a disability in order to attend and participate in meetings or events, please contact the City Clerk's Department at 905-227-6613 in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Minutes are uploaded to the Virtual Library after being approved by the Thorold City Council at the following meeting.
