Summer Employment Policy (please read carefully)

The City of Thorold has adopted a Summer Student Hiring Policy which states:

  • The student's length of employment with the City of Thorold shall be limited to college or university tenure, or a maximum of six (6) seasons, with the exception of the students hired as pool staff.
  • Applicants must provide documentation verifying that they are enrolled in school full time for the semester preceding the summer work term and that it is there intention to be returning to school, full time, for the semester following the summer work term.
